James Jolin

Undergraduate RA

James René Jolin is an A.B. Degree Candidate in the Harvard College Class of 2024, concentrating in Government with a secondary field in Global Health and Health Policy. His primary research interests lie in the sociolegal determinants of health disparities in the United States and abroad, particularly in the context of correctional healthcare. In addition to his work with Prof. Alsan and Prof. Yang, he is a student intern, contributing writer, and research assistant at The Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School. His research has been published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine, Postgraduate Medical Journal, and Bill of Health at The Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics. His journalism has been featured in The Harvard Crimson and Harvard Political Review and has earned national recognition by the Associated Collegiate Press and George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication.
