Janine Patricia Robredo

Janine is a physician by training and a public health advocate in the Philippines. She is a practicing medical doctor and is actively committed to improving healthcare access and delivery among marginalized and indigent populations. She has valuable experience in community and public health program development and has served as a health strategies consultant for both public and private agencies. She has also published multiple papers in different journals, mostly focused on health governance and social and structural influences on health behavior and inequities.

Outside of medicine, she serves as the executive director of the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation, a non-profit organization promoting ethical leadership, good governance, and people empowerment through capacity-building and community development programs. She works closely with sectoral and local governments across the country and has years of experience in local and national grassroots political campaigns.

Janine obtained her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Ateneo de Manila University in 2014. She finished her medical degree (MD) and master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH) in 2020 and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Global Health Delivery at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine in Harvard Medical School.
