Luyuan Jia

Predoctoral Research Fellow

Luyuan Jia received a BEcon from Tsinghua University of China in 2023. Prior to joining Professor Alsan’s research team, Luyuan worked as a research assistant in the Berkeley Economics Department and a research assistant in the School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Tsinghua University. Her research interests lie in health economics, economic development, and political economics.

She will start her Ph.D. program in Health Care Management and Economics at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Fall 2025.
