Miguel Purroy

Predoctoral Research Fellow

Miguel Purroy received a B.Sc. in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia) and an M.Sc. in Economics from the Universidad del Rosario (Colombia). Prior to joining Professor Alsan’s and Professor Yang's research team, Miguel worked as a research fellow at Inter-American Development Bank and as a research assistant for various professors. His research interests lie at the intersection of political economy and development, mainly focused on corruption, conflict, and crime.
